In this podcast Episode, David & Caron Loveless discuss how to grow receptive when you feel most resistant, to what is happening to you, to others, or in your circumstances.
Someone has said, “What we resist persists.” Resistance is a pretty good sign that some part of our egoic, false self is being triggered. It is right at that point we find our greatest invitation to spiritual maturity.

We most often expect to find God in moments of peace, love, and joy. While that is true- it is also true that God is present and at work, in the times we feel most resistant.
The Welcoming Prayer (by Thomas Keating)
Welcome, welcome, welcome.
I welcome everything that comes to me today because I know it’s for my healing.
I welcome all thoughts, feelings, emotions, persons, situations, and conditions.
I let go of my desire for power and control.
I let go of my desire for affection, esteem, approval & pleasure.
I let go of my desire for survival and security.
I let go of my desire to change any situation, condition, person or myself.
I open to the love and presence of God and God’s action within. Amen.
