Welcome to the Makers Gonna Make Show where Julie Bee interviews makers about their brand's story and the behind-the-scenes of operating their business.

Alicia Soret’s inspiration started in 2018 when she couldn’t find a cross-body strap for her purse or camera. Everything she found was either too short, poor-quality, or insanely expensive. It was at that point that Alicia decided it was time for her to try something of her own.

After buying an insane amount of material, she and Dave decided to make a business out of it and began making straps to be worn across the body. First, it was an Etsy shop then on to craft shows and farmer's markets and now, they’re online and selling bags, wallets, and totes.

Listen to this week’s episode for more of Alicia and Dave’s conversation with Julie, especially their discussion around their bag auctions and being live nightly on Facebook.
