In this episode of The Makers Gonna Make Show, Julie interviews Samantha Swan, owner of Cottage Lane Kitchen. Her company started off in the same kitchen where FOUR generations of relish makers (chow-chow for those who know) have been making the same relish for over a hundred years. Samantha shares how she took that recipe and turned it into a business with award-winning relishes and hot sauce. Like Hissy Fit Hot Sauce and Get Me a Switch Spicy Pepper Relishes. She also reveals the power of networking even in the ecommerce world, and the importance of having patience when starting a maker business.
