In this episode Judith Germain speaks to Rev Hannah Gordon about how to be more hopeful this year. Hannah is a Maverick although she believes that labels belong on clothes and not on people and shies away from labels that don't allow her to be herself. She shares why she runs and breathes in nature and why we shouldn't feel small and insignificant in the world.

She explains that hope doesn't mean bad things don't matter, hope is an active verb not a passive state of mind. They discuss how you can be an agent of change and how does this impact on children. With children being more depressed and scared what can we do to help them? Hannah shares her belief that chidren will finally change the things that we should have done ourselves. They have much to teach us and provides so much encouragement.

Listen to this conversation and discover how maverick leadership kindles hope and makes change possible. This discussion is for everyone, whether you have a faith (of whatever type) or no faith at all. She asks what roots you when things are bad, and Judith asks what do you connect to? AI? Social Media? A person?

-------

Maverick leadership is all about thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo. It's about having the courage to take risks and the confidence to lead in a way that is authentic and genuine.

But amplifying your influence as a leader isn't just about having a strong vision or a big personality. It's also about having the right leadership capability and being able to execute on your ideas and plans.

The consequences of not having the right level of influence as a leader can be significant. Without the ability to inspire and motivate others, you may struggle to achieve your goals and make a real impact.
