Climate-scientist-turned-entrepreneur Adam Lowry makes products that are better for people and better for the world, then brings them to the mainstream.

The co-founder of nontoxic cleaning brand Method and plant-based dairy company Ripple Foods, Lowry has been entrenched in the wellness space for two decades. Since he started Ripple with biochemist Neil Renninger in 2014, the line of pea-based milk has raised over $100 million in funding and taken off as a protein-rich dairy alternative. Peas are packed with health benefits, but their flavor isn't exactly something you want to drink up. Enter Lowry and Renninger's technology that can extract the pea's pure, unflavored protein.

Now available in half-and-half and yogurt, Ripple is only getting started, and the duo has big plans to use their tech to revolutionize the food market and make plant-based options more delicious and eco-friendly (peas also have a much lower carbon and water footprint than nuts and other crops often used as dairy alternatives).

In this podcast, Lowry reflects on why self-awareness is the key to a successful brand, how he uses meditation and exercise to stay productive, and why work-life "integration" is the new work-life balance. He also dives into greenwashing and his predictions for the future of food and the future of the planet at large. You won't want to miss it.
