We are extremely disappointed in you. You are acting like pubescent boys and need to dial that male entitlement way back if you’re going to be worthy of the women you love.

Hugh, no more trying to restrict Dot to “womanly” duties (e.g. wedding planning). She’s good at her job and has much help to offer you, if you’ll only let her.

Jack, no more grousing about Phryne’s “old friends.” She is what she is and you love her for it.

As penance, you are each to write a 1,000 word essay on Toxic Masculinity. We expect it on our desk first thing in the morning.
