This is just an amazing story of inspiration, perseverance and facing up to hardship. Born in New Jersey, Cody Coleman had a Mum declared insane by the FBI and then jailed for threatening to kill a senators son. He never knew his father. Today he studies at one of the most prestigious Universities in the world. This show tracks the journey and how Cody went from the poorest family in his district with no parents to guide him, to now studying computer science at Stanford. Such an inspiring, incredible, honest and real story of grit and persistence. It’s just stuff we like, think is cool and maybe of interest to you our listeners. “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!” ― Hunter S. Thompson, The Proud Highway: Saga of a Desperate Southern Gentleman, 1955-1967
