Make-Up artist Desiree Falcon (HOLLISTON, DIGGING UP THE MARROW) gives Adam, Joe, and Arwen an EXTREME make-over (to say the least) when she joins them to discuss her career journey as a working Hollywood make-up artist. Though the guys have discussed creature and special effects make-up on the program before, in this truly glamorous episode the guys turn their beautiful brown eyes towards the craft of beauty and straight make-up in film and television. Ever wonder who makes your favorite actors and actresses look so good? Or how two average looking dudes like Green and Lynch somehow look so good in HOLLISTON? In this episode their secret weapon is revealed as Desiree shares her story. Starting out as a young girl who was fascinated by famous faces, Desiree heard/saw her calling and headed through trade school and right on to Hollywood all kinds of sets ranging from the HATCHET films, CHILLERAMA, and DIGGING UP THE MARROW to TV movies like STOLEN FROM SUBURBIA, THE BRITTANY MURPHY STORY, and MOTHERS OF THE BRIDE to television comedies like HOLLISTON and MY SISTER IS SO GAY. Your “Viewer Mail” is answered, Adam says goodbye to one of the first actors he ever worked with (actor Kenneth O’Brien AKA Scott Kane from COFFEE & DONUTS), and best of all… Desiree gives the guys a seriously extreme make-over as they compete for the title of “MS. MOVIE CRYPT!” After you listen to the interview, watch the short video posted in the episode’s message board below, marvel at Green and Lynch’s transformation from grubby manly men to striking beauty queens, and cast your vote by posting your choice below the video. Will Adam Green or Joe Lynch be crowned “MS. MOVIE CRYPT?” Only YOU can decide! [Sorry, no voting for Arwen. You can’t compete when you’re already the true Queen, so Arwen is not participating in the contest in order to give the other two dogs a fighting chance.] Two men enter, one man leaves (as a woman)! Watch and vote now. Don’t forget to follow everyone on Twitter: @FalconDesiree, @Adam_Fn_Green, @TheJoeLynch, @Arwen_Fn_Green, and @MovieCrypt. Want to keep this program going? Pleeeeeease support The Movie Crypt by “Feeding Arwen A Treat” and donating to the show or by buying something (like the new Movie Crypt “Cult Of Arwen” T-shirt!) on www.ariescope.com. Your support keeps the podcast going, it keeps the toilet flushing (somewhat) properly at ArieScope Pictures, and it helps Arwen save up for law school. COME ON, MAN! The dudes got made-up in drag for your enjoyment! The least you can do is give back and help them buy soap to wash the make-up and fake lashes off.
