So nice they did it twice! After the rip-roaring success of the 1996 edition, the WWF decide to hold another edition of the 'Slammy Awards' right before "Wrestlemania" in 1997 and in Episode 58 of 'The New Generation Project Podcast' we take a look at how the evening unfolds. Featuring; your suggestions for signs we could take to Dallas, the podcast debuts of Drew Barrymore and Tommy Lee (sort of), another song medley from Todd Pettengill, Jesse James reveals his difficult second single, many moments when we hope Chris Candido wasn't watching, Owen Hart presents an award, a brief history of Arnold Skaaland, a bonus Jose Lothario sighting, Bob Backlund wants carrot juice, the Miss Slammy contest, the Vince McMahon Award, Brian Pillman calls Cindy Margolis a prostitute and, for some reason, Doink The Clown reappears. Plus the answers to the questions; Who is the least likely person that ever lived to have an affair? How do you cheer Adam up? What has Shawn taken before dinner? Who is the most dedicated to kayfabe? Who is Mankind's real Father? Who cuts the most boring speech of the night? How'd you get your pants to fit so tight? Is the left one bigger than the right? Who is an expert on nice hair? Is there any wrestling artwork in the Scrivens family home? Who is late for dinner? How does The Sultan eat? And what names can Paul not say now?
