Today we talk in depth around the pressure to "give yourself permission around food" in order for Intuitive Eating to "work" ... and we argue actually there is a BIG missing piece with this misconception - which is the "Intentional Pause" which unlocks the REAL Intuitive Eating world we were hoping for and how this can massively mitigate unwanted weight gain. We work with clients who are interested in giving themselves permission around food AND want to heal the drivers that made them overeat in the first place so that they can live in peace around food AND their bodies are capable of telling them what, when and how much to eat for a healthy body.
