Shazam! Fury of the Gods undeperformed at the box office and the blame game has begun. Supposed "high level sources" at WB whined The Wrap again to write an article blaming The Rock for the failure of the overall Shazam franchise to get over. Also, the critics vs fans debate heats up again as AO Scott, noted critic from the NY Times, steps down as a critic and calls out the toxic fandoms for why he's done being a critic. Do fandoms want to kill criticism so they can just become snakes in a pit and eat each other up?
The Outlaw John Rocha has a few things to say about all of this and he goes live on The Nation to talk about it all in this video!
