In this podcast, Jan and Michelle talk about recovering from setbacks as individuals and as a team. They believe this is only possible if People Leaders and team members maintain their physical and mental health at all times.
The People Leader has a responsibility to create an environment where team members feel like they can bounce back from adversity. This can be done in a variety of different ways, both in group and individual settings. When team members feel like they are being encouraged to improve through training and constructive feedback, they are more likely to recover from a setback.It is also important for team members to feel part of a collective ethos so that they can recover from setbacks as a group, without anyone feeling that they have been left behind.
