Week 14 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2019 season is now in the books! The Eagles beat the New York Giants in overtime at The Linc by a score of 23-17. Amazingly enough, this Eagles team and season is still alive as they are now tied for first-place with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East. Their record is now 6-7 on the season.
This game will not only go down as the Boston Scott Show, but we saw how clutch Carson Wentz was when he was in the moment. When his team needed him, he pulled through throwing two touchdown passes to Zach Ertz in this game. While the first three quarters were an utter mess for the Eagles offensively, it was the rally that mattered in the fourth quarter that helped put them over the edge, keeping their season alive. Down to only two wide receivers after Alshon Jeffery went down with a non-contact injury, somehow Wentz was able to give the offense a spark. While the defense played well, in general, Ronald Darby once again had a terrible game giving up touchdowns and tons of yardage to the Giants wide receivers.
As always, we give our takeaways, analysis and grade each position as well as the coaches.
