Week 6 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2019 season is now in the books. It was a game that completely sucked for the fans of this team. The Eagles lost to the Minnesota Vikings on the road by a score of 38-20, and their record is now 3-3 on the season as they have two very difficult games against the Cowboys and Patriots coming up.
Unlike last week, this game was a defensive mess from start to finish. The Eagles secondary was burnt consistently throughout the game for long yardage touchdowns by Kirk Cousins. The pass rush was virtually non-existent. The Eagles offense started out slow. Again, no points or real yardage in the first quarter. Yet, Carson Wentz once again had to put this team on his shoulders and it wasn't enough. It was the first time we've seen the Eagles try a fake field goal, which ended in a Jake Elliott interception. This game was a mess across the board for the Eagles.
As always, we give our takeaways, analysis and grade each unit as well as the coaches.
