76'ers Need To Get Past The Hiccups (PST Show #304)
The Philadelphia 76'ers appear destined to make the postseason again this year. But after fans have witnessed some hiccups during this second half of the season, do they have what it takes to get them over the hump as the playoffs loom? This week, Emily Anderson, writer and contributor at LibertyBallers.com, joined us to dissect this Sixers team and what we should expect from them down the stretch. It's a great interview you won't want to miss!
But first, we got into a discussion about how active the Eagles have been in free agency thus far, and with players they have signed and re-signed. (2:00)
From there, we dove into the Phillies pitching rotation as the regular season is almost upon us. Should the front office look at signing Dallas Keuchel? (13:40)
We then talked about whether or not the Flyers can and should make the playoffs at this point as they have a very tough last dozen games of the season. (19:25)
This week on the Highbrow Segment, we're asking the question – how far should fan behavior be allowed to go at professional sporting events, especially in light of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz game from this past week? (26:30)
Our topic for the Lowbrow Segment are our worst sports takes from the previous year. There are some real gems in this segment. (38:55)
What we're throwing down on the Table this week is an interview with Emily Anderson from Liberty Ballers. With the postseason creeping into our brains, we first got into how the recent game against the Pacers could have been momentum changing in terms of the team's psyche. From there, we discussed Jimmy Butler's role and what we can expect from him long-term. When Zhaire Smith finally does take the floor, what should we, as fans, be looking for? We then moved onto Tobais Harris' role on this team heading to the postseason as well as Brett Brown's job possibly being in jeopardy. All of this and much more this week on the Table! (50:10)
