In this episode, Eric has Anthony Quintero in the studio to discuss the Koi Herpesvirus Disease (KHVD). Anthony works hand in hand with university research teams and runs a greenhouse quarantine space for Koi to study KHVD and other prominent diseases. People do not talk about this epidemic enough, maybe because they just don’t want to. KHVD originated in Japan and recent outbreaks in California have many people concerned. Koi are a massive food source, so even if you do not have a pond in your backyard, it could still affect you or someone you know.
