Hello and welcome back once again to The ProTipster Football Show. It’s Wednesday so that means it’s time for our Combined XI podcast. This weekend the biggest clash in the Premier League will be played out at The Etihad Stadium where it’s Manchester City Vs Tottenham Hotspur.

Pep Guardiola’s team made light work of Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United in the derby in the end and yes this is only our second episode and it sees us covering The Citizens again, you can listen to last week’s episode here.
A wee reminder of the rules, it’s pretty easy, we pick a best 11 from both teams, however, we cannot pick injured or suspended players. This week I suggested going with a 3-5-2 formation, which probably wasn’t the smartest idea since there’s only really 2 proper fit Centre Backs between both squads, Nicolas Otamendi and Jan Vertonghen….no Eliaquim Mangala doesn’t count, of course he doesn’t count, don’t be silly.
So this week it’s the ProTipster Dream Team as I’m joined by ProTipsterMartin and ProTipsterDan and we crack our heads together (over skype albeit) in an attempt to find the best starting XI from the combined squads from Manchester City Vs Tottenham Hotspur.

Choosing a goalkeeper was easy for the lads, although I make a valiant effort to go with a lesser liked cat between the sticks, for our defence we picked the exact same players…yes, Mangala didn’t make the team, of course he didn’t. But, y’know, we’re all really here to talk about the midfield and the attacking positions aren’t we.
There was one massive omission and even though 2 of us tried, we just couldn’t shoehorn a City player that Fantasy Football managers are in love with this season into the starting XI.
Finally then we turn to the actual fixture and I try to get a predication out of the lads, however, I fail miserably and am left to lick my wounds for another week.
