Hello Fellow Racing Ears,
I am so thankful and grateful for this episode of The Racing Ear Podcast.
My first guest is Rick Knoop. Rick Knoop has been a race car driver for over 40 years and in this episode of The Racing Ear Podcast, he remembers and describes what it was like to participate at the 1978 24 Hours of Le Mans, in Le Mans France. He was a key ingredient in the Kremer Brothers Racing #44 Porsche 935 team. His driving efforts helped his team to achieve 6th Place overall and 1st place in the Group 5 Racing Division. He drove this amazing Porsche 935 racing car with drivers Jim Busby and Chris Cord.
Whenever Rick Knoop drives a race car he uses conditioned skills that has allowed him to drive racing cars for over 40 years. He has a racing philosophy of being smooth, having consistency, and having full concentration. His story telling really makes this episode flow well. Rick reminiscing about the biggest sports car endurance racing event in the world was awe-inspiring to be a part of. Thank you Rick Knoop for this opportunity!
Thank you very much for listening to The Racing Ear Podcast.
