Episode 11: Simulation, Stat Weights, and Gear Selection Part 1
Intro:
This is the eleventh episode of the The Raider's Confessional. This week Ryan is joined by his co-host, Cole as well as special guests, Zoop and Yellow. This week the guys talk about the work that these two do over at AskMrRobot, simulation, stat weights, and gear selection.
Ryan and Cole have been playing WoW for a very long time now since the beta stages of Vanilla. Each one of the guys have their own unique way in which they view the game and a methodology to their approach to raiding.
AMR:
Whilst Cole and Ryan are in the same mythic raiding guild, Yellow and Zoop do their own thing in game on top lots and lots of theory crafting and work with the AskMrRobot system for simming your character and making gear selections. In this episode the gang dives into what exactly simming is, what goes on with it, and what relevance it has. They also dive into stats and stat weights so players can have a better of understanding what those numbers mean and what purpose they serve. After closing out these two topics the group jumps over to the new AMR players will see very soon and can use to help make gear selection.

As the group winds down the conversation Ryan makes the announcement that this show will not only be part 1 of 2 but will also be released early so that listeners can send in questions they might want answered in the next episode.
