Four Brothers is a movie about four BROTHERS who aren’t actually BROTHERS, although two of them are BROTHERS (“And when I say BROTHER, I don't mean like an actual BROTHER, but I mean it like the way black people use it, which is more meaningful, I think.”). The BROTHERS have to join forces and use all of their BROTHERS powers do defeat the guy who killed their BROTHER mother (although he does eventually kill one of the BROTHERS). Did I mention that they are BROTHERS?

That’s it. I literally just told you everything you needed to know about this movie. John Singleton even said about the it: “This is one of those 'Saturday Night Special' movies." You have a good time... and enjoy it for what it is."

I’ll tell you what it is. It’s a poorly written, formulaic studio film that nobody was really all that excited about from the actors to the production. Mark Wahlberg was allowed to ad lib all of his lines. Andre (3000) Benjamin did everything he was asked to do and probably had the best performance of the BROTHERS. Tyrese did Tyrese things. And there was a fourth BROTHER that nobody has ever seen before or since. Chiwetel Ejiofor easily provides the most inspired performance as the villian Victor Sweet. Terrence Howard continues to be a gigantic piece of shit.
