Fall turkey hunting seasons have opened, or are fixing to, in most of North America. Currently, 42 of the lower 48 states and even some Canadian provinces, participate in celebrating this time-honored tradition. For those outdoorsmen and women who haven't hunted and bagged one of these big birds, we've compiled a need to know list of helpful hunting tips that'll certainly put a turkey fan on your wall and some delicious meat on your table. Kicking off this week's thunder chicken tribute with an exclusive two-part interview, will be Hal Shaffer, host of "Greg Zipadelli's Drop Zone" on Outdoor Channel. Hal will concentrate on locating and targeting a turkey's preferred food source, calling techniques and how he sets up for the kill. Then, Matt Lindler, Acting VP of Communications for NWTF, will fill us in on their "Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt." initiative, membership benefits and Mossy Oak's introduction of their Obsession camo line that benefits the wild turkey. Finally, Greg Randolph, VP of Marketing at DECKED in vehicle storage solutions, will aid us in solving the hunter's greatest plight: lack of innovative vehicle storage for firearms, hunting gear, decoys and more. The Revolution with Jim and Trav and this week's Discussion of The Flocks of Fall: Turkeys, is presented by Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, World Fishing Network and MyOutdoorTV.
