Was it a combination of bad weather and pilot error as we've been told, or is it possible the plane was sabotaged? Why did the gun belonging to Holly found at the crash site have one empty bullet chamber? Why was the Big Bopper, who was sitting in the rear seat of the plane, found 40 feet in front of the plane wreck and the bodies of Holly, who was sitting in the front seat?

Peggy Sue Gerron met Buddy Holly in high school in Lubbock Texas. They remained close friends until his death. Peggy Sue was married to former Cricket's drummer Jerry Allison. She was the inspiration for two Buddy Holly songs, Peggy Sue and Peggy Sue Got Married. The former was a hit for Buddy Holly and the Crickets. His critically acclaimed book, Playing with the Enemy was twinner of the 2006 Military Writers Society of America Book of the Year.
