John and Mike are back to recap a thrilling U.S. Open from Brookline, MA. Andy in Seattle may join in as well, and we'll cover Matt Fitzpatrick's narrow victory after a putt by runner-up Will Zalatoris on 18 to tie misses by an inch. We'll also look at other big players from this weekend's action including the year's hot starter Scottie Scheffler, the recently surging Rory McIlroy who had a big setback on Sunday, and Jon Rahm, who had a solid defense of his U.S. Open title but struggled to keep the ball in the fairway on his final round.

After our coverage of the U.S. Open, we'll keep the golf panel on the show to cover the newly started LIV Tour overseas. The Saudi-funded tour got a number of big names, most recently Brooks Koepka who announced his move to the tour on Monday. We'll also cover Sir Nick Faldo's announcement of retirement from full-time broadcasting between CBS and Golf Channel. Where does the PGA Tour go from here? That plus a look-ahead to upcoming events and a quick preview of golf's return to St. Andrew's for the Open Championship next month.
