Welcome to the world of Shadowvane, a place where the horrific and frightening reside. We are a podcast in the same vein as the classic radio dramas of the ‘30s and ‘40s. We hope to offer an experience similar to the classic War of the Worlds or modern storytelling examples in podcasts like Welcome to Night Vale, Sayer, or We’re Alive.
While our amazing voice actors work their magic on the 11th episode of Progenix Labs, enjoy a much more well known classic tale by the master of horror, Edgar Allan Poe. In his story "The Masque of the Red Death," a prince ignores a terrifying plague that is killing most of his town's population. Instead, he gathers a group of his wealthy friends to wait out the disease. If you know anything about Poe's work, I imagine you can guess how that might work out for him.
