We had Natalie Aukar out to Westhampton to chat on the pod. We hadn't intended to continue our exploration of our relationships with our controlling mothers but as it turns out Natalie has a lot of issues with that too so we get right into that. What is acceptable in breaking away from our parents with love? Should we feel guilty? We look at the big problem of feeling bad about trying to live our own lives. We also discuss how to break from the hold of control while maintaining a relationship with the controller. We take a look at the shame that our parents sexual messages leave with us also.
