Our primary focus was to look at the impact this film had on the #1970s. Through this discussion we look at the initial reception of Star Wars, the changes made to the film over the last 38 years and how it felt to see Star Wars for the very first time back in #1977. We also get behind the scenes and look at the origins of the film, what #GeorgeLucas expected of the film, the deals he had to make and his bet with #StevenSpielberg. The audio embedded is from the original teaser trailer released in 1976. We used this instead of the traditional #JohnWilliams score to reflect on what it would have been like to have seen Star Wars in its original run.
