Generosity with wealth is not only a joy but a responsibility. That freedom comes at a very high cost that can never be paid in full. The duty to strive to extend and accord that freedom to all others who are less fortunate, not only in the wealth department but also in the freedom department.
The idea has difficult but also very fascinating implications - why the duty exists, and how to fulfill it.
