For a few months now we’ve been asking you the listener to send in topics for a TekBeard podcast with the idea being that - if we use it on the show - well you win a TekBeard Tshirt and…A NEW CAR….I mean…a USED PHONE!
After dozens of emails - we’ve picked a winning topic - which comes to us from Adam's hometown of Chicago and friend of the show - Rich H. Rich wrote us the following note:
“I was thinking the other day... As much as I love living in an age of smart watches, smartphones that have replaced my need for a computer, streaming music, etc.... The other day for the first time in God knows how long I used an actual landline telephone, now I know it isn't the most exciting thing ever but when I pressed an actual button to dial a number it hit me... I really miss using an actual phone.... So my suggestion based on my overly long setup is.... What are things you miss that while may be the same, aren't quite as they once were?”
