They say there’s no such thing as an original idea any more. That certainly is the most true when it comes to the film industry. Every movie that has ever gotten so much as a glowing bathroom stall recommendation is being remade twenty years, ten years, sometimes less than half a decade after the original. But recently, a new font of “borrowed” ideas has been uncovered. Comics. It’s nice when you think about it. There’s already an established base of interested consumers, plus heck the storyboards are already made! As 2016 looks to be the year of the superhero movie, and with Marvel in the midst of an ambitious project, we wanted to take a step back from the tech and focus on the geek a bit more and talk about the Marvel Cinematic Universe and what it means for you.
