The Japanese phrase "Kaizen eno Yon Dankai" translates to "Improvement in four steps" and was made famous from the success of the Toyota Way in automotive manufacturing. Kaizen is a daily process, the purpose of which goes beyond simple productivity improvement. It is also a process that, when done correctly, humanizes the workplace, eliminates overly hard work (muri), and teaches people how to perform experiments on their work using the scientific method and how to learn to spot and eliminate waste in business

Sounds a lot like innovation to me.

This episode looks at the four steps of Kaizen and how you apply them to being consistently innovative no matter what you do.
