Prime capital in business culture changes over time, and relational capital is the new currency. Brandon Schaefer of Five Capitals shares how the younger genereation has grown up with a focus on relationships, authenticity, and trust.

Both Brandon and Danita Bye, author of Millennials Matter, help business leaders adjust to the new realities of relational capital. Brandon proposes three key shifts to make:

  1. Substance: do we actually believe in our why and purpose?
  2. Time: Get good at wasting time with people to cultivate relationships.
  3. Investment: invest in the who person; focus on character development as well as competency development.

Danita shares that business owners and leaders are wrestling with attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent in their companies. Danita and Brandon equip leaders to make the neccessary mindset shifts to begin creating a culture the next generation is attracted to.
