Hey everybody! Episode 44 of the show is out. In this episode, I spoke with Roman Hanis. I have known about Roman since I arrived in the Amazonian jungles of Peru. And having worked in this field for the past decade, I've come to hear about many centers and people working with these medicines. It's rare to only hear good things about a place, but that's just the case with the Paititi Institute, which Roman founded. In this interview, Roman and I discussed myriad topics from his background and work, to ancient traditions, sacred plants medicines, learning, and healing. Roman has a beautiful way of expressing himself and putting, often esoteric or abstract ideas, into very understandable dialogue. I find Roman's view of the work and world of plant medicine to closely parallel mine, and so it was a pleasure to hear his point of view based on many years of personal and interpersonal work. Roman is one of the wiser voices in this field and this interview turned out to be one of my favorites in terms of the depth and knowledge that he shared.
