In just the last few year's Brandon has lost a son to cancer, another to suicide and his wife kidnapped their duaghter after falsely having him imprisoned in a criminal mental institution. He finally gets out only to find his house empty, all his banking accounts liqudated along with his wallet, IDs, and credit cards missing.
