If you follow the news, you know that we don’t exactly live in a time when tons of environmental regulations are being passed. That means that it falls to each and every one of us to do what we can to protect ourselves from the harmful chemicals floating out there in our air, water, food, cleaning products, and more. Fortunately, the Environmental Working Group makes doing that so much easier, with tons of research and searchable databases aimed at keeping consumers safe. This week, I had the opportunity to interview Ken Cook, the founder, and CEO of EWG! This is an interview I’m super excited about, and it contains so much important and fascinating information. Listen to learn about:

  • Why EWG switched from lobbying for policy changes to educating consumers
  • Why oats contain more weed killer than corn
  • The top 3 things you can do to protect yourself from harmful chemical exposure
  • What you can do as a consumer to help bring about change
  • And much more!

If you have any questions for Ken or do you use EWG as a reference when looking for clean products? What’s your go-to database? Tell us in the comments on the article page!
