How annoying is it when you’re cozy and warm in bed and your bladder is just bursting?! Or maybe you’re that person who has to pee 3-4 times before you fall asleep because you just can’t ignore the sensation of having to go... Whether you’re newly postpartum, menopausal or anywhere in between, many women assume it’s normal to have to visit the bathroom one, two or more times each night or that pelvic pain and discomfort are just par for the course. But what if we told you it doesn’t have to be that way? My guest on this Word on The Sleep episode is Chana Ross - Chana is a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist who is incredibly passionate about busting the myths of what women think they have to live with and helping women reclaim their whole health (and sleep!) by addressing their pelvic health. As a mother of 4, Chana shares her experience with pelvic pain and we get real about how too often, women’s concerns are brushed aside and dismissed and how we’re working to change that. Most recently, Chana is using her expertise and experience with virtual physiotherapy care to coach and empower other manual practitioners to provide exceptional virtual care and create valuable offerings outside of 1:1 in clinic care to support their clients and fulfil on their missions to change the world!
