TOPICS: Shoot the Breeze

· Earlier today, Triple H & Nick Khan met with the mayor of London, England to discuss the potential of WrestleMania.

· CM Punk trending due to contract facts and rumors

→ Earlier this week, word came out via WrestlePurists that CM Punk was in talks to adjust his current WWE contract. This led to a lot of discussion and editorializing that Punk was already trying to renegotiate his deal that he signed in November of 2023. Fightful was told that isn't so much the case.

Regarding injury time being added, it's tough to tell without seeing the contract itself, but people close to Punk were quick to note that Punk hasn't actually stopped "working" for WWE during the time that he's been out. He's made appearances on Raw, Smackdown, PLE shows, worked on commentary, on pre-shows. He's also gone to help out at NXT a number of times, which Fightful was told was something he actually volunteered to do.

Fightful reports that CM Punk has overcome the reputation he had coming back to WWE, and has been very easy to deal with. One WWE source said that many of the promo lines thrown his way would have likely been an issue last year, but that Punk has handled it well and knows that he's in the midst of a hot angle.

Regarding his deal, Fightful says through WWE sources that Punk's deal isn't up imminently, and the company approached him about the possibility of expanding the deal as business has exploded, and there are more elements that can be worked in.

· Bryan Danielson confirms his wrestling contract ends on August 1st.

→ He has a World Title match at All In on 8/25.

· Reports of Keith Lee’s deal being imminently up in AEW.

→ Would he fare better in a Triple H run RAW?

· AEW-WBD deal slowly, possibly coming together – reportedly has ROH as part of the negotiations. Max streaming platform involved and internationally already has some content.

· Australian female wrestler Delta has signed with WWE, and will begin with NXT once she acclimates to living in the U.S. Fans are in disbelief on WWE snagging and signing Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and now Delta.

· Pat McAfee announced he is returning to ESPN College Game Day - remains to be seen how this impacts his Monday nights.
