Breaking news waits for no man, particularly the two men who host the Yahoo Sports NFL Podcast.

Minutes before they began taping the podcast, news broke that the league would be conducting a workout for former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick this Saturday for all 32 teams to attend. Charles Robinson & Terez Paylor report on how this came together, if it's legit and why it's a "no-lose" scenario for the NFL who has been looking to put this story to bed for three years (0:50).

Sticking with the 49ers, how about that Monday night game between San Francisco and Seattle? The guys recap the fallout from the blockbuster game of the season, if the 49ers have been figured out and Jadeveon Clowney is poised to go on a run that might make him the highest paid defensive lineman ever (10:30).

Later in the show, Charles brings up an image that had been going around Twitter on Tuesday of all 32 teams' remaining strength of schedule. They run through the 5 teams with the easiest and hardest slates and handicap how that might affect the playoffs, coach firings and draft order with seven weeks to go (27:50).

Finally, the guys preview the three games they're most looking forward to this weekend in Texans/Ravens, Saints/Buccaneers and Patriots/Eagles (44:10).
