The Therapy for Black Girls Podcast is a weekly conversation with Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, a licensed Psychologist in Atlanta, Georgia, about all things mental health, personal development, and all the small decisions we can make to become the best possible versions of ourselves.

The holiday season, even when not in a pandemic, can bring up lots of stuff. While this season may bring lots of good things like gathering with loved ones and some days off of work, it can also mean family pressures, anxiety, stress, and overwhelm. In November 2017, I shared some thoughts here on the podcast about the differences between the holiday blues and a major depressive disorder and a few tips on how to steady yourself for the holidays and all of that information is just as true today.
