Tina Tran has led business development at three successfully acquired startups, and currently leads mobile platform and OEM partnerships at Microsoft. Previously, Tina led AR/VR Future of Work enterprise partnerships at Facebook and a $10M educational VR content fund at Oculus.

Tina’s work in tech connects to her core value of equal access to opportunity. Coming to the U.S. as a refugee, she had few resources and has a unique perspective on what it takes to thrive amidst adversity. Today, Tina is focused on making a difference in people's lives, particularly as it relates to economic empowerment, unlocking access to opportunity, and encouraging women and girls to shoot for the moon.

To this end, she serves on the board of directors at Hello Neighbor, an organization that strengthens communities by matching resettled refugee families with dedicated neighbors to help them thrive in their new lives in the U.S. Tina is also an advisor for Nomi Network, a non-profit that fights modern day slavery and human trafficking through economic empowerment programs.

Tina graduated from the prestigious Presidential Leadership Scholars Program, a partnership between the George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Lyndon Johnson, and George Bush presidential centers. She is one of 59 national up- and-coming leaders recognized for her commitment to solving some of our nation’s most pressing problems.

Tina is one of the 43 immigrants/refugees that President George W. Bush paints for his new book of portraits "Out of Many, One."
