Staci Stevens of Bryan, Ohio, is passionate about local organic agriculture and loves to share her knowledge of health and real food with others. It was a long and winding journey to her health and her business "Eating for Health." Prior to health coaching, Staci worked in all aspects of the health food business, from internships on family farms, cooking in cafes and farm-to-table restaurants. In 2011, she opened an organic grocery store that connects the consumer to the farmer. She has studied the Functional approach to nutrition, a somewhat new school of thought that is making great strides in health care at a time when it couldn't be more needed.Staci does not have a medical degree, but feels she has a lot of experience to offer due to her studies with one of the best nutritionists in the world. She never diagnoses, treats, or prescribes diets. Her role is an educator and support person. You should always do your own research and consult with a trusted healthcare provider when making changes to your diet.Staci suggests three key elements when working on the gut microbiome: 1. Eating fermented foods. All Things Food in Bryan, Ohio sells excellent quality organic locally-made ferments by Wild Brine.2. Bone broth at least twice a week.3. Taking the right supplements, which may include high quality probiotics.Staci thrives in the 419 by learning about native plants in NW Ohio with the help of a group called "The Wild Ones."If you'd like to contact Staci, please visit her website at http://www.eat4healthwithme.comCurrent promo: Go to www.naturally-simplified.com and sign up for VIP Circle.
