A motorcyclist told me that the best way to avoid an accident is to practice in a controlled environment with no one else around for the inevitable accident situations that will happen. He told me about watching videos of people playing motorcycle limbo and practicing difficult situations before they occur. And that led me to think about marriage. How can we practice so that we're ready for income loss, death of a spouse or loved one, or interfering in-laws? Furthermore how are we preparing for when children move out of our house?
