We come off our Thanksgiving break rested and refreshed for another TigerTalk podcast. In this fifty-third (53rd) edition of the TigerTalk podcast presented by Northeast Mississippi Community College, host Will Kollmeyer welcomes NEMCC's Campus Country director and instructor of commercial music Chris Dunn to the podcast as he promotes his upcoming Showtime, "Evergreen," on Thursday, November 29. Dunn talks about how his singers select the pieces for the show and the diverse list of songs that will be performed during the 25-song setlist. In addition to talking about how the selections are made for Showtime material, Dunn gives a little insight into the lives of Campus Country members via social media and also what the group has been up to since we last talked to him prior to his September 29 Showtime. In the second half of this week's program, Kollmeyer welcomes softball players Austyn Holden and Harley Mullins to the podcast as they talk about all the community service that the Northeast Lady Tiger softball team will be doing during the holidays. From spreading Christmas and holiday cheer to residents of the area nursing and assisted-living facilities, to adopting an area family, to breakfast with Santa and reading to elementary school students throughout our five-county area, the Northeast softball team will be busy during the holidays. Kollmeyer wraps up the podcast with a new addition to the publication -- an extended version of what is coming up on campus that details events happening on and around the Northeast campus in a daily breakdown.
