Native woman Kristelle Day frantically sent messages to her family, telling them she felt unsafe and wanted to come back home to Alaska immediately. They sent welfare checks on her and she told the police she's fine. Suddenly they never hear from her. They attempted three times to report her missing and it was denied. Getting help from a lawyer who is involved with the MMIW suddenly she is then reported missing and soon "found". However, there are many out there that aren't found. They aren't taken serious.
