Let’s get into the mindset of the racers at the Baja 1000, 500, or 250!! Visualize the pageantry of contingency, the challenges of race course design, and the unpredictability of the unfolding events caused by human, mechanical or weather errors. These off-road Baja races are known as the toughest events in all sports. Where did it all begin? Jose will have the privileged to discuss off-road racing with the sports pioneer Mr. Sal Fish - former President of Score International. Inducted into the Off-Road Hall of Fame for over 40 year of promoting the sport. We will discuss how Score International was involved in the historical DARPA Grand Challenge events. Also, learn about Sal’s involvement with Slash X, and the driverless vehicles such as TerraMax and Sandstorms. Discover the technologies and innovations that has continued to make the off-road racing events safer, faster, and exciting. Join your host, Jose Negron, on Today, Tomorrow’s Technologies - Variety Chanel at 9 am PST.
