Hello, friends, and welcome to the second episode of Tokimeki Radio! ✨ I apologize for the delay (this was supposed to be up on the 30th) due to dealing with harsh week along with being sick, so that slowed me down a bit. 😷 However, the wait is over; here’s the second episode of our podcast!

First off, many thanks to everyone who listened to our first episode, shared it with friends and talked to us/commented with supportive words and feedback. We truly appreciate it! We wish to talk even more about these games we love and enjoy, so we can help spread awareness and have other people be join in the conversation as well. I feel the more vocal we all are about what we enjoy, that it’ll be noticed more, and perhaps…we may get more of what we enjoy in the future! Let’s keep the conversation going! 💖

You may have noticed that we now have a rockin’ logo/cover for Tokimeki Radio. Shout-out to Makku for creating this piece for our podcast! ✨ Check out Makku’s Patreon page to support her creation of more great art or if you’d like to commission an illustration, check out her commission information page.

In this second episode, we talked about March’s English and Japanese game releases. There were plenty of mobile releases this time around! We also talked about the fashion brand, Super Groupies, releasing a very special Hakuoki purse line. Another thing we discussed was the new Japan-exclusive Otomate club that opened on April 1st. Because we had talked a lot about the Beastmaster & Prince Kickstarter campaign, we of course had to talk about what led to its failure. Talking about bad news is not fun, so we turned it around to talk about the hopeful future in otome games through Spike Chunsoft’s tweet regarding the question of whether a Kenka Bancho Otome game release in the West is possible. Also adding to that hope, we talked about Sekai Project’s latest Indie GoGo campaign featuring a BL game, Monstrous Lovers. And lastly, we talked about the games we’re both playing at the moment. If any of that sounds like your cup of tea, please give our show a listen! Thank you for your support. 💕

Some things to note, I think the effects of being sick came through in the recording; I might sound a bit more tired than the previous episode. I also didn’t spend as much time editing, since all my body wanted to do is sleep to recover. Sorry about this! I would spend more time editing this, but we’re already working for the new episode that will go up by the end of this month, so we’re trying to stick by a schedule. I will keep trying my best to have these out in a timely manner! As always, thank you all so much for listening, and please look forward to the next episode coming soon at the end of this month!

Until next time, see ya! ✨
