I am a practitioner of Mahatma Gandhi's spiritual humanism (https://www.bu.edu/wcp/Papers/Reli/ReliMeht.htm, http://magazines.odisha.gov.in/Orissareview/2008/Sept-Octo-2008/engpdf/32-42.pdf, https://www.mkgandhi.org/articles/gconcept.htm, https://www.bu.edu/wcp/Papers/Comp/CompBaru.htm, and https://www.yourarticlelibrary.com/essay/gandhis-humanist-approach-towards-social-problems/40286.) I am a practitioner of secular spirituality (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secular_spirituality.) I am also a practitioner of Pragmatic Spirituality also known as Spiritual Pragmatism ("Positive Ways defines spirituality as the pragmatic way in which you bring purpose and meaning into your every day life. The spiritual life forms an essential component to happiness, life satisfaction, and even physical and mental wellbeing. Spiritual pragmatism involves interpenetration of the spiritual and the material, immanence and transcendence, capability and transcendence. Spiritual pragmatism involves a transformation of anthropocentrism and a creative mutual interpenetration of the human, nature and the divine." I respectfully question tradition, I embrace human diversity, I possess a strong emphasis on social justice and care for the poor and the oppressed, I value environmental stewardship of the earth, the centrality of loving one another, and compassion, justice, mercy, and tolerance, often through political activism. I am one and whole with The Divine. I compassionately and unconditionally love people, animals, insects, nature, architecture, Life, The Planet Earth, The Universe, and myself.
