What does your day-to-day job and work look like?

  • Every day is different, but usually centered around design.

What do you use to tally all of your most important tasks together?

  • Basecamp (iOS/Android) (For team work and communication)
  • Things 3 (iOS/Mac) (For personal tasks)

What is your planning process for the week ahead?

  • They work using 12-weeks long templates on Basecamp for product releasing.
  • Joey immediately adds tasks and ideas to Things 3 when they come to mind scheduling them at the moment.

What hardware do you use every day? (phone, laptop, pc)

  • Apple products in general.

What are your 3 favorite apps/tools for work? (Eg. marketing, designing)

  • iCal (Apple’s native calendar)
  • Basecamp (iOS/Android)
  • Things 3 (iOS/Mac)
  • Every Monday, Joey takes the tasks of the week and assigns them an actual time to do them on his calendar (i.e. calendar blocking method).

What does your morning routine look like?

  • Joey wakes up at 5:30, exercises for 30 minutes, meditates for 5/10 minutes, reads for 30 minutes, and then he does a specific music training.
