This week on the Toy Power Podcast we bring you all the latest news plus a review of the Rad Plastic Book!!
But right at the top our list is information about our local Adelaide Comic & Toy Fair. We have a date! So please clear your schedule on the 7th of April for another awesome event! Next up, we have a teaser pic of Hot Toys Bobba Fett as he appeared in the Mandalorian - Dad Bod Bobba? Staying on that larger-than-life theme - how damn cool are these Muppets from Diamond Select - a beautiful offering of famous characters in their "best of line". Then flipping the coin between Statue & Action Figure we have a new Mortal Kombat - Spawn Dark Ages, but we are struggling to work out what to call it..... Onto news from Neca, we are all quite blown away with the Cartoon TMNT Disguise 4pk. This set really is an ultimate pack; the list of accessories is simply amazing!! Who doesn't like a good Crossover? Well it appears that the TMNT / Power Rangers Crossover will be jumping off the comic pages & into plastic form!! You may want to turn your volume knob down a bit; as Darren gets very excited about the MOTU Revelations listings - but it has the rest of us confused & we simply need to see some pictures of these teased wave listings! Trailer news is next, & man does the Snyder Cut of Justice League look interesting!! We talk about some things like 'dream sequences' & 'aspect ratios' that is new news to some of us! Finally, the Mortal Kombat Trailer has also dropped and it seems like it has exceeded our expectations and calmed our concerns about the film itself. Then to round out this episode, we take a look at the Rad Plastic book by Chris Fawcett. This beautiful Art Book dives into the early production pieces and designs from the Original Playmates TMNT Toyline as well as the Next Mutation toyline.
