This case, the murder of Anita Cobby, has been described as one of Australia’s worst crimes, what the perpetrators did to a beautiful young woman in the hours before they brutally murdered her is beyond belief. Five young men abducted a young woman as she walked home from a train station, they brutally sexually assaulted and sadistically murdered her and then just dumped her body in a farm’s cow paddock where she was found two days after her murder. This is the 1986 murder of Anita Cobby.
