On #TubtaNabadda, we mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities commemorated on 3 December globally. We interview Kirsten Young, UNSOM Chief Human Rights Officer, about the significance of the occasion and what the United Nations does in Somalia to support Persons with Disabilities as well as what needs to be done to cement awareness on disability rights among communities. We also interview Mohamed Abdul Jama, Chairperson of the National Disability Agency, about the status of Persons with Disabilities in Somalia and what needs to be done to support and mainstream disability rights in Somalia.
